Which Chinese zodiac animal is most like the scorpio of western astrology

I read somewhere that the scorpio relates to a specific animal on the chinese zodiac, based on similar characteristics, not on the year of birth. Does anyone know which one it is? I think it might be the snake… Thanks for your help!

I did some research and it seems the Chinese equivalent is thought to be the strong, resolute Pig, but personally I think they are the Chinese zodiac animal Snake, too. So EVIL!! <— not a bad thing

Sorry for not able to answer your question.

From my point of view, both totally different. Chinese zodiac is totally base on Chinese zodiac animal birth year and the five elements of feng shui and western astrology base on month.

Anywhere, you can check your birth year animal and fengshui element through this page
The order of Chinese Zodiacs goes by:
Mouse, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig

The order of Astrology goes by:
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Pisces, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces

Well…if that helps

Zodiacs starts more on when Chinese New Year Begins and it usually begins around January/February
This year’s Chinese New Year is on January 26th. Year of the Ox.
(aye that’s next week.Red Envelopes……..*hollah*)

Astrology signs start on March 21st.
